1. Coaches’ Code of Conduct
The Code of Conduct outlines the standards of behaviours and ethical conduct expected of all members, providing principles to guide individual behaviour and decision-making
2. Member Protection
Sport is for everyone. The Member Protection policy sets out expectations and behaviours to ensure everyone involved in your sport is treated with respect and dignity. The policy deals with prohibited conduct that is defined as abuse, bullying, harassment and sexual misconduct, and includes examples of what may constitute such conduct.
3. Safeguarding Children & Young People
Children have the right to take part in sport in a safe, positive, and enjoyable environment. The Child Safeguarding policy can assist your sport by ensuring that everyone involved is aware of their rights and responsibilities in relation to children, and that children are safe and protected from all forms of abuse, harm, and neglect while participating in sport.
4. NIF Complaints, Disputes and Discipline
The Complaints, Disputes and Discipline policy sets out the system for resolving complaints and administering disciplinary action arising from an individual or organisation engaging in prohibited conduct under the National Integrity Framework.
5. Competition Manipulation and Sport Gambling
The Competition Manipulation and Sport Wagering policy prescribes prohibited conduct in relation to improperly altering the result or the course of a sporting activity, betting on a sporting activity or disclosing inside information to obtain a benefit.
6. Improper Use of Drugs and Medicine
The Improper Use of Drugs and Medicine policy seeks to protect the health and wellbeing of athletes and mitigate the risks to sport of the misuse and administration of drugs and medicine in the sporting context. The policy outlines requirements for National Sporting Organisations, employees and athletes in regard to the use of medications and the administration of injections.
